Low Operational Cost Sludge Dewatering Equipment For Sludge Treatment
The screw body is consist of fixed rings, movable rings, screw bars, gasket and the main
screw. While working, the movable rings will move as a cycle around the main screw,
however, the gasket ensures there have some gap between the fixed ring with the movable
ring, so that avoid block to realize self-washing function, and thus greatly decrease the
consumption of washing water.
High Efficient Sludge Squeezing Technology: to greatly decrease the final cake moisture, we
adopts two special structures:
1. The screw distance is decreasing from inlet(bottom side) to outlet(top side). At the same
time, the diameter of the screw is becoming bigger from inlet to outlet.
2. On the main shaft, in the cake discharging tank, there is a baffle and there is a gap between
the baffle with the dewatering roller, so that ensure there will have some pressure to the
sludge. Thus it can perfectly squeeze out the water and realize best filtering performance.
3. Screw Induration Technology: On the surface of the screw leaf, it is processed by the
induration materials, and this ensures the hardness can be 1000 HV and the adhesive force is
bigger than 70 MPa, so its difficult to cause deformation, and can have long life-span. Four
fiter, the normal parts are cut by cutting machine or water cutting machine, and the key parts
are cut by laser to make sure the precision.

1. One-in-all design, fits in small facility
Multi-plate Screw Press adopted the unified structure that serves two functions, thickening
and dewatering in the single machinery. The drum filter, because of the clog-free, realizes
higher speed of filtering phenomena per filtering area as compared to other methods. For this
reason, low concentration sludge of about Total Solids 0.2%, as well as thickened sludge, can
be directly fed without pre-thickening.
2. Wide range of line-up/Small footprint
The model of sludge dewatering press based on the customer needs can be selected from a
wide range of line-up, and can be installed in places where placement would not be possible
with other technologies for reasons such as low building ceilings or limited area. This makes
Multi-plate Screw Press suitable to customers who are considering the replacement of existing
dewatering equipment.
3. Easy operation/Easy maintenance
Full automatic 24-hour operation without an operator on-site is possible with automatic
operation control using various sensors. With this function, manual operation, such as starting
or stopping, is not required. Moreover, daily maintenance is minimized, requires no skilled
labor neither special knowledge, so that everybody can use it easily.
4. Power and water saving
The screw which is the main component rotates very slowly at a rate of 2 to 4 rpm, so that it
consumes very low power and thus economical. Multi-plate Screw Press prevents filter mesh
from clogging with its unique self-cleaning mechanism, removing the need for huge amounts
of water for clogging prevention.
